She used large sawn frames with iron boat nails every third frame

Planks were butted on the sawn frames

Water leaking down from the deck caused rot in half a dozen planks port side

They were removed and the boat was treated with antifreeze

Strips were put back on the boat to help her keep her form

Large checks have opened up here in the stern post. The wood will probably swell up to look whole if put in water. But I don't know how it would affect the structure.

The deck was left on the side where planking was taken off. Again, to help preserve the shape.
